
Weightlifting Classes
Weightlifting classes at Tripod are designed with a specific focus on improving technique and building strength through structured barbell training. Led by Michael Fava and Owen Camilleri from Squad Weightlifting, sessions focus on mastering the Olympic lifts with attention to detail, patience and progression.
Classes centre around technical work on core lifts and variations, followed by accessory and strength exercises to address individual weaknesses. Coaches provide personalised feedback to help refine movement and build confidence under the bar.
These sessions are ideal for anyone serious about improving their weightlifting skills. Beginners are welcome to attend the Saturday session, which repeats the Thursday class and allows more time to learn and practise.
